12 Quirky Days of Christmas - Day 2 ~ Delightful Decor

Hey,

So, on the second day of Christmas my true love gave to my 5 stuffed animals sliding down my stair railing.  Yes today is the second day of our Christmas extravaganza, and unfortunately I only have one craft to share with you.  But fear not it will not be disappointing. So . . . take a look and attempted this challenge.

So we are on day 2 of our 12 Day's of a Quirky Christmas; and I am going to help you decorate your house to make it full of Christmas joy!  I have decided to show you how to make a sliding hill for all of your stuffed animals in the house.  So, jump on in and slide down the hill as we learn a how to make this sliding hill!

Just so that you are aware this post is going to be rated at "Eh", because it is challenging but not to bad.  If you need to see the full definition of "Eh" look at the right hand side bar.

What You Need:

  • 4-5 stuffed animals ( I tried to find as many of them as I could with Santa hats on)
  • Duct Tape
  • Measuring Tape
  • Fake Snow
  • Pipe
  • Cleaner
  • Scissors

How To:

1.) Measure you stair case railing.

2.) Fold your fake snow in half and lay it out flat.

3.) Measure about 6 inches across.

4.) Cut down the length of the snow along that six inch mark.

5.) Place tape down your railing about a foot apart.

6.) Lay the snow on the top of the tape.  If you run out of snow then just overlap the second piece and continue down the railing.

7.) Take a piece of duct tape and roll it up so that there is tape all around.  Place it on the snow were you want your animal to sit.

8.) Take a pipe cleaner and warp it around your selected stuffed animal's waist.

9.) Take two of the same color pipe cleaners and twist them together.

10.) Set your stuffed animal onto the duct take and attach one end of the long pipe cleaner you just made to the pipe cleaner on your animal.

11.) Then wrap it under your railing and attach it to the other side of the pipe cleaner on your animal's waist.

12.) Repeat this until you have your stair case full of stuffed animals.

Enjoy!
