Wacky Cork Magnet

Besides maybe mason jar gifts (which you’ll be seeing tomorrow!) this is my favorite gift I've made this year.  It wasn't so easy that it didn't seem like a “good enough” gift, but it didn't take forever either.

I rated this “eh”.  It probably took me half the day to make, but that was because it was my first one.  It was actually really fun to make though!  To see more about our rating key, look at the right hand side bar.

Materials:

•1 wine cork
•Crafting wire
•A scissors
•7 colorful, round beads
•Hot glue
•Tacky glue
•1 magnet

Cut a piece of wire around 2 inches long.  (Oh!  And sorry for the sideways photos...)

Make a notch at the bottom.
Slide a bead on.

Repeat.
Poke them into the cork, about ⅓ of the way down.

Repeat steps 1-4 making notches for knees.

Poke them in the very bottom of your cork.

Add two beads for eyes and one for a nose.

Add a magnet on the back.

That's it!!  How'd it go for you?  If you liked this, then check out Moms & Crafters, where I got the inspiration.  I basically did the same thing but added color.
