Crazy for Turkey

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
We have put together this last minute craft for a last minute blog post.  We are really sorry that this came out so late we just have been really busy.  Okay, let's talk about the craft.  It is a really fun and easy way to welcome your guests and should only take 10-15 minutes.  So, let's get started!

Before we start I just want to let you know that we rated this craft at a Pie because your should be able to find everything and home and it is really simple.  Also, you deserve some pie on thanksgiving!

Materials:
  • 2 white paper plates
  • One red piece of construction paper
  • On orange piece of construction paper
  • One black piece of construction paper
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Brown Door

How To:

1.) Find a circle that fits inside your plated as a pupil and trace it on the black piece of paper.

2.) Place a second piece of paper under the one with the circle outline on it.  Cut out the circle so that you have two pupils.

3.) Take the pupils on the back side of the plate so that you have two eyes.  ( we off centered the pupils but you can play around with it to see what they look like )

4.) Tape them onto your door.

5.) Take out your orange paper and fold it in half.  Mark the middle and then take a rule and draw a line from one of the top corner to the middle dash.  Then repeat this for the other side.

This is what you should have when your done drawing.

6.) Cut on the lines that you traced so that you have a triangle.

7.) Tape your beak on to the door just below the eyes.

8.) Draw a gobbler and then cut it out.

9.) Tape the gobbler onto the door.

Enjoy Your Door!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!
