Time To Crash??? The Perfect Pillow

Sometimes when it is time to crash at the end of a long day, you may not be at home. In the car, on a couch, wherever you (or your kids) are, this pillow is perfect. It is small and comfortable, and anyone can make it. This is something that all ages will enjoy both while making it and when it is finished. So, let's began in this adventure!
I have rated this craft as "Pie", see the right hand side for definition of this rating!

Materials:

(Sorry that I don't have any pictures!)
  • Fleece Fabric (The amount depends on the size of your pillow. You will want to make measurements about 5 inches bigger then the pillow on all sides, also you will need two of these squares.)
  • Pillow ( You can find theses at Joann Fabrics; I would recommend a square one.)
  • Pinking Shears or Scissors
  • Cutting Ruler
  • TV (for some entertainment while working)

How To:

1.) Lay your fabric out.

2.) Cut off any of the icky stuff on the end of the fabric.

3.) Cut your fabric to the right size.  Like I said in the materials take your pillow size and add about 5 inches to each side. Just remember that this is not an exact science like some sewing projects!

4.) Make sure to cut two squares! Lay them on top of each other so that they are layered.

5.) Take the cutting ruler and measure four inch by four inch squares on all the corners.

6.) Cut the four inch squares out.

7.) Once you have all the squares cut out start to cut strips about one inch in width.

8.) Repeat this all the way around the pillow.

9.) Start to tie the two layers together; I would go every other strip ( I did a double knot).

10.) Repeat this for three of the sides.

11.) Insert the pillow on the one open side.

12.) Tie the open side together.

13.) Tie all of the rest of the strips together.

Enjoy your finished product!
