Candy Cane Earrings

When you want to go crazy for Christmas, but just don't know how these earrings will help to insure that you have the Christmas joy all around you.  I will take you through the step to make these simple but fun candy cane earrings.  This is not to hard at all, however you may have to go out and buy some materials so because of that I am rating it as "Duo".  If you need a full description look to the right hand side bar.
Materials:
  • Two earring hooks
  • Paint brush
  • Red bake-able clay
  • White bake-able clay
  • Glaze
  • Paint brush
  • Knife
  • Oven
  • Work surface (paper plate, clay mat, or something else along those lines)

How To:

1.) Cut off a piece of white clay.

2.) Use your hand to role out the clay into a long skinny snake.

3.) Cut off a piece of the red clay and role it out just like the white clay

4.) Take and twist the clay so that it looks like a candy cane.

5.) Fold the role that you made in half and cut it at the fold.

6.) Fold over the ends so that they look like candy canes and trim the ends if they feel to long.

7.) Insert the bottom loop of the earring hook inside the candy cane. Repeat this for the second candy cane.

8.) Bake according to the directions.

Glaze and enjoy!
