What You Will Need:
- Mat or Paper plate will work
- Paint Brush
- Glaze
- Wire
- Bake-able Clay (I always use Sculpey ( I used a mixture of colors))
- Rolling pin
- Tooth Pick and (or) metal pokey thing
- Clay Knife
- Wire Cutter
- Oven
- Thin Permanent Marker
How To:
1.) Cut off a piece of your clay.
2.) Play with the clay. This is to get the air bubbles out.
3.) Roll your clay into a ball.
3.) Roll the ball flat.
4.) Don't roll it too flat. You still want it about 1/4 of an inch thick.
5.) Cut a triangle out of the top of your circle.
6.) Cut the bottom of the heart to make it come to a point. Try and line it up so that the points are on the same line. (As shown above.)
7.) Round off the top of your heart.
8.) Round off the sides of your heart as well.
9.) Use your fingers to make the heart more even.
10.) Take your tooth pick or pokey thing and put a hole by the bottom point. This is so that you can place a tooth pick in it and stick it in a cupcake.
What your hole should look like.
11.) Create a loop and place it on the top of your heart.
12.) Repeat the last 11 steps until you have enough hearts for all of your guests.
13.) Place all of the hearts on a baking tray and bake in the oven according to the instructions on the package.
14.) Once they have cooled write the first letter of both of the their names and the info of their wedding with a pen.
15.) Glaze over the top of the heart.
16.) Repeat these last few steps for all of your hearts.
You can place tooth picks in the hole that you created and place it on a cupcake. Then when your guests are done you can give them a key chain and make it a perfect charm.
